Duties of Authors

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. Authors must properly cite or quote the work of others.
  • Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is unethical.
  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research. Ghost authorship and gift authorship are not acceptable.
  • Disclosure: Authors must disclose all potential conflicts of interest and funding sources.
  • Data Access: Authors should be prepared to provide raw data if requested and should retain data for a reasonable time after publication.
  • Errors: Authors must promptly notify the editor if they discover significant errors in their published work.

Duties of Editors

  • Fair Play: Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their intellectual merit, regardless of the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
  • Confidentiality: The editor and editorial staff will not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, and publisher.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts will not be used by editors for their own research without written consent from the authors.
  • Publication Decisions: The editor is responsible for deciding which manuscripts will be published based on validation, importance, originality, and relevance.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
  • Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively with constructive criticism.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Privileged information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal advantage.
  • Promptness: Reviewers should notify the editor if they are unable to review a manuscript promptly.

Research Ethics

Human Subjects

Research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki. Authors must include a statement that:

  • Patient privacy and confidentiality are protected

Animal Research

Handling Misconduct
